Easy No-Bake Peanut Butter Granola Bars - featured image

These simple, no-bake granola bars come together in under 15 minutes using just five pantry staples. They are chewy, balanced with salty-sweet flavors, and perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cup Honey
  • 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Optional: Spread oats on a baking sheet and toast at 350°F for 5-7 minutes. Let cool completely.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter and honey. Stir constantly until smooth and warm (do not boil).
  4. Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the cooled oats in a large mixing bowl. Add sea salt and stir vigorously until every oat is coated.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips gently.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press down firmly and tightly using a spatula or the bottom of a glass to ensure bars hold together.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour, until firm.
  8. Lift bars out using parchment paper and cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes

Press the mixture firmly into the pan to prevent crumbling. Toasting oats is optional but adds nutty flavor. If using maple syrup instead of honey, chill longer as bars will be softer. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
